Work

Things I noticed, checked, and made something of.

Reviews, carousels, reels, a small product, and the systems I built to make them. Nobody paid for most of it yet, so every piece carries a label.

The Super 30 rewrite

An AI marketing agency’s ad turned up in my feed. Their homepage and their team page disagreed on how many clients they had, how much they’d made for them, and how long they’d been around. I rewrote the hero and listed five fixes that would take an afternoon.

Ads I Review

Every ad makes a promise. I check the receipts.

Ads land in my feed promising to fix businesses. I read the whole website, check the claims, and write up what's real, what's hype, and what I'd never do myself. The full reviews live here. Instagram gets the short version.

Review 01 · 4 Oct 2026 · Reddit

I'm a Redditor of 15 years. An ad offered to fake my people.

An agency promised to put brands at the top of Reddit, and into the answers ChatGPT and Perplexity give, using over a thousand aged accounts dressed up as ordinary people. Their About page promises no fake accounts. Both can't be true.

Review 02 · 6 Oct 2026 · YouTube

A video promised ₹1 lakh with zero skill. The receipts said ₹1,800.

A tutorial on selling AI-written ebooks with Facebook ads. His own numbers: ₹3,600 spent on ads, three sales at ₹599. Then he made up a weight-loss story for the ad, and said so on camera.

THINGS I WON'T DO

Whatever they promise.

  1. I won't pretend to be a customer of something I'm promoting.
  2. I won't buy followers, comments or upvotes.
  3. I won't talk about my own work anywhere without saying it's mine.
  4. I won't quote a statistic I haven't checked.
  5. I won't sell anyone growth that depends on fooling the people they want to reach.
  6. I won't invent a story and tell it as mine.
  7. I won't sell advice in a field I'm not qualified in.
  8. I won't put a number in a headline that I didn't actually make.

The Google Escape Kit

A beginner's guide to leaving YouTube and YouTube Music on Android without losing your playlists or your patience. I tested the alternatives, wrote it for people who don't care about tech, designed it, and put a price on it.

Not every fucking thing has to be monetised

A 12-slide carousel and a Substack essay about hobbies that stay hobbies. Hand-drawn halftone illustrations on grainy paper, no AI images. It became the house style for my carousels.

The showreel

Ninety seconds on what I do, made to find writing and communication work without sounding like a sales pitch. Cream paper, serif type, torn edges.

A stop-motion reel system

Paper cut-out animation drawn in code at 12 frames a second, exported at 24. I built it once, so every new reel is just new scenes and words. Several of my reels run on it.
